Maputo, the capital of Mozambique in East Africa, is an Indian Ocean port with the preserved colonial architecture of Portuguese origin. Although Inhaca Island may be considered the main attraction, Mozambique also has a couple of fine beaches on the mainland. Surfers will be drawn to the great Praia da Macaneta waves that can be reached from Maputo by boat. Maputo has no restrictions on the drinking age, and anybody can visit those bars and clubs. Maputo is a music, dance and great seafood venue. People are friendly and are safe in most places. This is the place to be for fun and great tastes, from exclusive hotels and restaurants to the lowliest, local and very real eating places.
Coconuts Live is a popular night-club in the capital city. With very cheap drinks and a large dance floor, over the weekends this place appears to get very busy targeted at the younger crowd. We do have a swimming pool lounge, where you can relax and order your drinks straight from the pool.
